Digital Design

This video showcases just a few bits of the fantastic digital content that I had the pleasure of creating during my time at Global Media as a member of the digital design team.

I designed Global media radio stations homepage takeovers, competition landing pages, and many other digital products on Capital, Heart and Classic FM for brands such as Manchester City Football Club and KFC. The client must be closely aligned to the brands and audiences in both content and in regards to design, so as not to disrupt or confuse Global’s own brand presence.

Procorda’s Piano Sanctuary is a great example, featured here on Classic FM. It was the first homepage takeover to be signed off by the Classic FM brand team in over 2 years. The advertising element worked seamlessly with the Classic FM branding. I created html5 video banners, with audio, which play on the site giving the appearance of a featured article, rather than an advertisement.

As well as content for all Global brands which were promoted on air a, I delivered  lots of social media campaigns for clients of the commercial advertising arm of the business. Jump over to my social media design page to see more. 

 

The Woodsman Whisky believe that ‘True Character is built by hand’. Commissioning Radio X’s Johnny Vaughan and Gavin “The Woodsman” Woods to make their own hand-builds in the ‘Woodsman Woodshed’ NAILED IT for the Woodsman Brand and showed the power of long-term partnership. The brand insight aligned perfectly with the idea, meaning the content produced had an authenticity not always possible with a brand partnership. Most importantly, the content drove tangible business results for The Woodsman Whisky, with the brand doubling in size in 12 months. This was all done through a Radio station, but one that provided a multi-channel route to reach and engage with the perfect audience.

The Healthwise interactive app prototype was designed for the Youth Charter in 2020 to provide a fun and flexible experience of improved health in the classroom, in the playground and beyond the school gate.

The Aliwise App was created for the Youth Charter for Sport in partnership with the Muhammed Ali Centre in Kentucky. The app centred around the life experiences, principles and philosophies and Muhammed Ali to create an interactive learning experience.

 

As digital designer for e-commerce and retail at VIP, I designed all promotional artwork for the website and daily e-shot campaigns and edited product photography for online sales for VIP and Fin.

Brand creation and marketing design for 8 Ball Games . I worked across 40 brands and all gaming networks including Cozy, 888, Playtech and Virtue Fusion for mobile and desktop. 

I designed affiliate and online marketing pieces, landing pages, banners and logos for many casino brands developed for 8 Ball Games which adopted daily email marketing campaigns alongside direct mail pieces to players.  Many of the websites and landing pages were wireframed but I enjoyed the creative challenge of using the templates to create a really heavily themed look such as the makeup compact for Girly Bingo and juke box theme for Rocking Bingo
